What is Elite PT's Fitness and Fat Loss Challenge?

Elite PT's Fitness/ Fat Loss Challenges are designed to help people achieve their ideal body shape and/or fitness for life through healthy long-term lifestyle changes.

This is initiated through the tuition of Elite PTSC's expert trainers with a structured exercise and eating plan over a specified timeframe (e.g. 6 weeks,9 weeks, etc).

Elite PT trainers will individualise a program for your specific needs, incorporating the latest training techniques and nutritional planning, and guide you every step of the way to achieve your goal.

Whether your goal is to lose unwanted kilos, tone-up, or increase your fitness and strength, then these challenges are an ideal way to get started.


NEXT CHALLENGE: 8-Week "New Year" Fat Loss and Fitness Challenge ... starts  Jan 30, 2012

Initial measures/ testing*: Jan 30-Feb 5, 2012
Final measures/ re-testing: March 26 - April 1, 2012

* NEW circuit testing involving a selection of body weight exercises and cardio machines for strength and fitness category.

Testing Procedures 
1. Fat Loss
Weight, girth measures and skinfold testing will be used to determine the best relative change in fat mass, weight and body fat percentage.

2. Fitness
The trainers at Elite have designed a circuit involving a selection of body weight exercises and cardio machines.The aim of each participant is to complete the circuit in the shortest possible time, and in the case of the body weight exercises correct technique.

The winner will be the participant who has the best relative improvement in their circuit time indicating the best improvement in aerobic capacity.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Entrants must have a minimum of one personal training session with an Elite PTSC trainer each week of the Challenge.
  2. The initial session in measurement week must be one hour.
  3. Initial measures/ testing must be taken no earlier than Monday, Jan 30, 2012 and no later than Saturday, Feb 4, 2012.
  4. Final measures/ re-testing must be taken no earlier than Monday, March 26, 2012 and no later than Saturday, April 1, 2012, in weight, fat mass and body fat percentage, improvements in relevant re-tests; and adherence to a healthy, sustainable exercise and eating plan, etc.
  5. Registration fee of $15; or $20 registration plus Elite Nutrition Diary.
